Review: It's not a huge place, so you get to mingle with people. It's loud and it's dark.

Facilities: Cheap bar prices (£1.80 for a pint of guinness!) cos its a working mens club all other times!! Good clean bogs, near to railway station on fenchurch street line.
Review: The surfer has been going for 2 and a half years, gaining a cult following in the south east. Unsigned bands from all over the country are clamouring to play there! Inside its all U.V's, sparkly lights and sweaty people!! Ecstatic and loads of crowd surfing!!
Other: The club is dedicated to supporting unsigned acts in Essex and the UK in General. They dont run the club to make money as the organisers are all musicians. probably why theyve got so successful! All the bands get paid for playing. The sound crew are branching out now, and can be found every other tuesday upstairs at VIVID and ELITE!

Review: its very laid back compared to every other pub in the area. its cool, calm and very chilled. there are sofas at the front when you walk in and the type of people it attracts r the nicest u will ever meet.
Other: this is my faviourite pub!! i was there last night with some guys in the beer garden, they had guitars and we were smoking pot, it was so chilled out.

Review: Pretty good. Usually quite packed until about 12.30. £1 per pint for Fosters. Other drinks are very expensive though. Probably best to have a bit of drink before going, but not too much, or the bouncers might not let you in.

Review: The night has been running solidly for 13 years now and has a real unique mix of punters of all ages. You'll hear anything from KMFDM to Kiss, Stereophonics to Slayer, Megadeth to Muse.
Other: One of the most established Pub rock nights in Essex, with no sign of stopping. Always a superb and friendly atmosphere.
